Autism Advocates’ mission is to provide safety and community for children, families and individuals impacted by Autism. To create Autism awareness, acceptance, and inclusion, while promoting the standard of all ability equality. To represent through merchandise and services, that all people of all abilities are of equal value. And to unconditionally love, embrace and support our differences.
OUR FOUNDER
Welcome Advocates! I am Alecia, the founder of Autism Advocates. I am a mother of four, my husband and I have been together for twenty two years, and our family has been on this Autism journey for a decade. Our thirteen year old son Jameson, is Autistic and non speaking, our family is embracing this journey with open arms. From my experience this can be a very isolating journey, and although we all have different stories, I believe we all share the same need for community. A community that can relate, support, inspire and encourage. That is why I am so glad that you are here, so that we can all come together and become what we have needed. I promise to do all I can to give a voice to, and support the voices of, our Autism community and our amazing spectrum of possibilities!
